Where this policy applies

This policy applies when you visit rishibulsara.ca, use a website form or calculator, complete a Meta lead form, request an appointment, send an email or otherwise contact Rishi Bulsara about mortgage services.

Information we may collect

We may collect information that you choose to provide, including:

• Your name, email address, telephone number and preferred contact method.
• Information about your mortgage goal, timing, property location and approximate financing needs.
• Information about income, employment, business ownership, assets, liabilities, credit or an existing mortgage when you choose to discuss these matters.
• Messages, appointment details, consent records and correspondence.

Website and hosting providers may also collect standard technical information, such as an internet protocol address, browser type, device information and pages viewed.

Why we use personal information

Personal information may be used to:

• Respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation.
• Understand your mortgage needs and explain possible next steps.
• Provide mortgage brokering services when you decide to proceed.
• Maintain business, consent and regulatory records.
• Protect the website, prevent misuse and improve service.
• Send mortgage information or promotional messages when you have provided consent or when otherwise permitted by law.

Information submitted through an initial inquiry form is not used to make an automated mortgage approval decision.

Consent and communication choices

By submitting an inquiry, you consent to being contacted about that request. Consent for ongoing promotional messages is requested separately. You may withdraw that consent or unsubscribe at any time by emailing rishi@bluerhinomortgages.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect information that must be retained or used for legal, regulatory or contractual purposes.

When information may be shared

Information may be shared with Premiere Mortgage Centre Inc. and, when appropriate for your request and with your consent or as permitted by law, with lenders, insurers, appraisers, lawyers and other parties involved in a mortgage transaction.

Information may also be processed by service providers that support website hosting, email, appointment scheduling, lead management, document storage or other business operations. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of another country.

Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed when required by law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a regulator or public authority.

Meta lead forms and other services

If you submit information through Facebook, Instagram, Google Calendar or another service, that provider may also collect and process your information under its own privacy terms. Links to other websites and services are governed by the policies of those providers.

Safeguards and retention

Reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, use, disclosure or modification. No internet service can guarantee complete security.

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, regulatory and business record requirements. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or made anonymous. A limited record may be retained to respect an unsubscribe request.

Access and correction

You may ask whether personal information about you is held, request access to it or ask that inaccurate information be corrected. Some legal exceptions may apply. Requests should be made in writing using the contact information below.
